בשלושה חודשים אישרה המועצה תקציב פעמיים. בספטמבר 2025 הצטמצם תקציב 2025 ל-137.79 מיליון ש"ח בהצבעה 5–2 (שניים נמנעו). בינואר 2026 אושר תקציב חדש בסך 144.26 מיליון — גידול של 20% מ-2023. אבי חדידה היה ההצבעה היחידה נגד, וטען שלא הוזמן לישיבת ההכנה: "אם זו ההתייחסות לאופוזיציה, בסדר." ראש המועצה השיב: "כל חבר שלא משקיע זמן בתקציב, מאכזב אותי."
In three months the council approved a budget twice. In September 2025, the 2025 budget was cut to ₪137.79M in a 5–2 vote (two abstaining). In January 2026 a new budget passed at ₪144.26M — up 20% since 2023. Avi Hadida cast the only "no," saying he wasn't invited to the prep meeting: "If this is how the opposition is treated, fine." The mayor's retort: "Any member who doesn't invest time in the budget disappoints me."

The Housing Ministry says it's ₪200M short on infrastructure. The council sent a letter: 30 days, or transfer the project to us (jointly with RAMI). Potential of about ₪80M for public buildings. Avi Hadida warned: "This could bring us to insolvency."
